As the year 2023 wraps up, we've seen interesting trends in the carpooling and ridesharing sector on the iOS platform across Europe. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a glimpse into the popularity and user engagement of the leading apps in this category.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a strong user base with weekly active users peaking at 5.6M in early December, although it witnessed a slight dip to 5.1M by the end of the quarter. The app's downloads saw an upward trend, starting at 260K in late September and reaching a high of 282K during the holiday season.

Another key player, Bolt: Request a Ride, experienced stable download numbers, with a notable increase to 231K in late November, while active users reached a quarterly high of 1.2M in early December before sliding down to 1.08M.
